Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Truong, Director of the Department of Unmanned Vehicles, affirmed that the unit’s officers and soldiers would be united, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, rapidly consolidate the organizational structure, stabilize personnel, and maintain strict discipline and order. The department will focus on training personnel to operate and master modern equipment, while closely coordinating with agencies, military units, and local authorities to develop flexible and effective joint operational plans, ensuring readiness to respond effectively to all high-tech warfare scenarios.

In his remarks, General Phan Van Giang stressed that the establishment of the department not only aligns with global trends in the development of military science but also contributes to optimizing the overall combat strength of the Vietnam People's Army and enhancing its capability to respond rapidly and flexibly to emerging issues.
The defense chief required all chains-of-command and officers and soldiers of the department and its affiliates to fully recognize its position and significance as a modern, high-tech combat unit, thereby promoting a spirit of self-reliance, resilience, and determination to overcome initial challenges and fulfill political tasks.
The unit's Party committees and chains-of-command should also pay special attention to political and ideological education, fostering firm political stance among officers and soldiers.
General Giang also noted that the department should promptly develop, finalize, and submit for approval regulations defining the functions, responsibilities, authority, and working relationships of the department, while establishing a comprehensive and synchronous procedures across all areas of operation.
He instructed the unit to maintain strict standards of military order and discipline, ensure full compliance with the State’s laws and military regulations, and exercise management of weapons and equipment. Particular attention should be given to building strong Party committees and Party organizations at all levels, fostering a comprehensively strong, typical and exemplary unit.

The department was also directed to strengthen internal political security, promote unity and reinforce military-civilian solidarity, thereby creating a solid foundation for the successful accomplishment of all assigned tasks.
Earlier, General Phan Van Giang and delegates offered incense and flowers at the memorial house in dedication to President Ho Chi Minh and the memorial stele honoring martyrs. They also visited an exhibition showcasing unmanned weapons systems and technical equipment.
