PANO - The Liaison Board of the “Davis Camp” Joint Military Group met on March 27th to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Unification.

During the meeting held at the Command of Military Zone 7, the veterans recalled the 823 days and nights of the diplomatic struggle inside the enemy’s land (Tan Son Nhat Airport then under the controlled of the Saigon regime), demanding the US side to observe the Paris Peace Accords and withdraw troops from the South.

For its contribution, the liaison board has been conferred with the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces” and the reappearance of this historical relic has been put underway with the participation of relevant agencies.
