Accordingly, the corps has made efforts and strived to implement its tasks of production and business in combination with consolidating defense and security and building a comprehensively-strong unit.
So far, the unit has attracted, recruited, created jobs and stable income for 15,000 laborers, of whom more than 9,000 are ethnic minority people. It has strictly carried out training, combat readiness duties and promptly supplemented and completed documents, combat readiness plans. Attentively, it has coordinated with localities to build 266 residential clusters and points in 271 hamlets and villages along the 251km-long border.

At the working session, delegates discussed and proposed a number of solutions for the corps to perform its assigned tasks.
Concluding the meeting, Gen. San acknowledged and highly praised outcomes that Corps 15 has achieved. He asked the unit to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement resolutions, directives and orders of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense on military and defense tasks coupled with socio-economic development mission.
He also urged the unit to grasp and accurately assess the impacts of non-traditional security challenges, climate change, and market prices.

On July 11 afternoon, the delegation had field trips to Companies 72, 74, 75 under Corps 15 to study their performance of production and business, security and defense guarantee and mass mobilization work. On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to kindergartens of the companies and local old and reputable people.
