PANO - Company 28 on May 9th was conferred with the first class Independence Order at the ceremony to celebrate its 40th traditional day (May 9th 1975 - May 9th 2015).

Formed right after the liberation of the South, Company 28 is the successor of Battalion 1 (Logistics Department of the National Liberation Front). Since then, the unit has surpassed numerous challenges and hardships and to fulfill its missions during its 40 years of establishment and development, becoming one of the major textile and garment businesses of Vietnam.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc spoke highly of the company’s achievements and urged it to do its best to earn more feats-of-arms in the coming time, significantly contributing to the socio-economic development and defence of the nation.
