PAN Editor-in-Chief Major General Doan Xuan Bo expressed his delight at welcoming the delegation, and briefed them on the newspaper’s establishment and development.

Accordingly, the PAN is a Party newspaper of the armed forces, so its motto and purpose is to always be loyal, devoted, and contribute to building the military and the country. In addition, the PAN has always obeyed all instructions from the Commission for Information and Education to effectively disseminate information.

On behalf of the Commission’s delegation, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon congratulated the PAN’s staff on the occasion of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, noting that journalism is a noble career.

He also underscored that the Vietnam Revolutionary Press has made great contribution to the revolutionary cause. Together with the national press, the PAN has actively disseminated the Party’s, State’s and military’s guidelines and viewpoints to the whole military and people.

The newspaper has also popularized outstanding models in socio-economic development. Information publicized on the newspaper has reflected the people’s viewpoints as well as actively fought hostile forces' false allegations, he added.

For his part, General Bo thanked the delegation for their care and good evaluation, which contributed to encouraging the newspaper’s staffers to further fulfill its assigned tasks, deserving to receive the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces” twice.
