Coast Guard Region 3 asked to apply measures to further enhance training quality

The mission was briefed on the coast guard region’s preparations for the new training season and inspected its implementation of staff, political, logistics, technical, and judicial work. Delegates checked the document system and training facilities; troops’ awareness of training and regularity building.

According to Coast Guard Region 3’s representative, right from the beginning of 2024, the command has well disseminated higher levels’ orders on combat training in 2024 and plans on combat readiness to its troops; completed documents related to training;  repaired and upgraded training facilities, training grounds, ships, weapons, and technical equipment for training activities and combat readiness tasks.

Concluding the inspection, Maj. Gen. Le Quang Dao highly appreciated the coast guard region’s efforts in preparation for the training season. Units have strictly implemented plans and comprehensively and adequately prepared training facilities, while officials have thoroughly grasped missions.

The service’s leader requested the Coast Guard Region 3 Command to address shortcomings pointed out by the mission, flexibly apply measures to ensure the conditions of training facilities, and raise the competence of instructors to achieve high training outcomes in 2024.
