Ho Guom Theater one day before the inauguration ceremony. It is located at No.40-40A Hang Bai Street (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi), covering an area of more than 5,000 square meters
It has 52 stone columns (each 18m high) brought from Spain to create a European-style architecture to the building.
The construction is the mixture of classical, modern and historical elements, and imbued with Vietnamese culture.
The modernity of the building comes from the image of the glass system and the dome that covers the building. The roof of the hall features the nation’s history.
It is divided into six parts, including big and small halls, auditoriums, backstage, and cafeteria, among others.
The building has neoclassical architecture, featuring the distinct function of a theater
The main hall of Ho Guom Theater is inspired by the starry night sky, while the main auditorium is decorated with the image of rice - a typical logo of the People’s Public Security force.
At the entrance to the stage, there is a wheelchair lane for people with disabilities.
Steps around the hall are decorated with LEDs.
The theater is fully equipped with modern technologies, meeting all requirements of artistic performance
Room for VIPs before and after each concert
With two auditoriums, Ho Guom Theater is the most modern building of this kind in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Besides, conferences and seminars on arts or other fields will also be organized at the theater.
Sound system includes Array and Constellation speaker system, in which, Constellation speaker system uses a range of sensor microphones around each auditorium and the stage, together with modern digital signal processors and world-class speaker systems.
Ho Guom Theater will become a place for cultural and artistic exchanges, and to welcome international artists and art troupes. It will also become the focal point connecting with cultural constructions, historical sites, architectural landscapes, contributing to the promoting the city’s tourism and culture.
