Particularly, the Central Military Commission (CMC) and the Ministry of National Defense (MND) allocated VND 5 billion to visit and present gifts to more than 2,200 wounded soldiers, martyrs’ relatives, and national contributors who are working in the military.

The CMC and MND also handed over gifts to the Vietnam Friendship Village of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans’ Association; the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange; 23 nursing centers for wounded soldiers and national contributors across the country.

Delegations of the CMC and MND visited and presented gifts to 1,226 veteran revolutionaries, heroic Vietnamese mothers, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ relatives, and families of soldiers who died or got injured while performing military and defense missions.

The MND also hosted and handed over gifts to seven delegations of national contributors from provinces and cities. The total cost for the activities was estimated at VND 1.8 billion.

In addition, the MND worked with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee to organize meetings to honor and give presents to 427 outstanding national contributors across the countries and delegates.
