PANO - The General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army has directed organizations and units in the army to continue synchronously carrying out missions and solutions relating to information technology (IT) applications and the guarantee of military information security.

Most recently, the Ministry of National Defence has successfully organized a conference on IT applications, digitalization and modernization of military equipment and weapons; and participated in an exercise on responding to computer emergency in Asia-Pacific region.

Moreover, the whole army has improved the quality and effectiveness of military science information and secured information provided to senior leaders in a timely manner.

Additionally, the Ministry’s organizations and units have enhanced the security of information systems, video conferences, and military computing networks as well as built security solutions for high-tech weapons and equipment systems.

The Ministry has also directed the IT applications and development, the study of more solutions to IT incidents and unexpected situations relating to military and defence information system.
