The ceremony was attended by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam and Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia.

Speaking at the event, General Nam spoke highly of the school’s achievements in education and training missions and the COVID-19 prevention and control. He asked the school to continue to renew their training contents and programs towards the actual conditions, improve the learning and teaching quality, promote creativeness and proactiveness among their cadets, and build  a sufficient and qualified contingent of teachers and educational managers.

The deputy defense minister required the school to enhance digital transformation while regularly upgrading training facilities. Also, he urged the unit to raise awareness of the COVID-19 prevention and control, enhance collaboration with the local Party committees and authorities to help people deal with natural disasters and the pandemics.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the State President, General Nam presented the second-class Fatherland Protection Order to the school, the third-class Fatherland Protection Orders to Battalion 3 and the school’s Rector Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Ca. Cadet Dao Van Long of Battalion 2 was honored with the third-class Feats-of-Arm Order.
