During the inspection visit, Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Political Commissar of Army Corps 3, reported on the unit’s task performance in the first half of this year.
In particular, since early this year, the unit’s party committees and chains-of-command at all levels have seriously embraced and effectively carried out higher levels’ resolutions and instructions. It has also raised troops’ awareness of, responsibility for, and determination in task implementation and management of troops’ thoughts, contributing to troops’ firm political stance and readiness to undertake and fulfill all assignments.
In addition, the unit has well organized emulation and reward activities, information dissemination, and cultural, artistic, and sports events.
In Party-building work, Army Corps 3 has effectively realized leadership guidelines on building party cells, party members, political agencies and political cadres at all levels to meet duty requirements while comprehensively carrying out party and political work in mission performance with high results. The unit has opened refresher courses to improve the leadership capacity, and combat strength of Party cells. Furthermore, it has regularly taken care of and ensured the material and spiritual life of troops and policies for troops’ families.

On hearing the report, opinions of the mission’s members, and checking Division 10, Brigade 40 and the Political Department of Army Corps 3, General Quyet acknowledged and praised the corps’ Party Committee and Command for achievements in party and political work gained over the past time.
The GDP deputy director stressed that in the context of complicated developments of domestic, regional, and global situations, the Party Committee and Command of Army Corps 3 should continue to do education work, orient troops’ thought, and build firm political stance for troops to heighten their vigilance, combat readiness, and determined-to-win spirit.

They were also requested to pay more attention to troops’ spiritual and material life; build a comprehensively-strong unit, a firm all people’s defense disposition to avoid being put into a disadvantaged position in any circumstances.
