During the visit, the delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of task performance of Division 10 of Army Corps 3. The chief of the General Staff applauded solidarity and efforts of the unit’s troops in overcoming hardships and mastering new weapons and equipment. He hoped that they will continue promoting the unit’s heroic traditions, regulations and military disciplines in their barracks, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit.

General Cuong was also briefed on the corps’ missions last year and the first quarter of 2022 by its Commander Maj. Gen. Nguyen Anh Tuan. Accordingly, the unit has always embraced higher levels’ instructions and resolutions, comprehensively deployed military tasks and maintained high combat readiness in any circumstances. In addition, the corps has increasingly enhanced training quality, implemented sound Party and political work and ensured logistical supplies for all missions.

Speaking at the working session with the corps’ leadership, General Cuong acknowledged and praised the unit’s achievements and required its leaderships to embrace assessments of the delegation.

He noted that the unit should continue grasping resolutions and directives of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to build strong Party organizations at all levels.

The deputy defense minister also required the unit to adjust combat readiness plan, improve training quality, collaborate with the local authorities and forces to manage the area where it is stationed, contributing to building strong local defensive region.

On the occasion, General Cuong and the delegation offered incense and flowers in tribute to heroic martyrs at the Memorial for Heroic Martyrs of Division 10.
