Army Corps 12’s preparations for upcoming exercise inspected
PANO - A working mission of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, checked Army Corps 12’s preparations for upcoming exercise on December 13.
Reviewing the rehearsal of the exercise and checking the fortifications, logistics and technical bases, and accommodation for troops, Gen. Cuong praised participating forces’ pro-activeness and responsibility and their thorough preparation for the event.

The Chief of the General Staff noted that the video introducing the exercise should focus on important contents. While conducting contents of the exercise, commanding officers must shout military commands clearly, while troops should make strong and swift movements. Participating forces should closely foster coordination.

Gen. Cuong requested Army Corps 12 and subordinated agencies and units to well carry out education work to enhance troops’ spirit of solidarity and responsibility, strictly observe regulations and military discipline, ensure adequate logistics supplies for participating troops, and well prepare sufficient weapons and technical equipment to ensure that the exercise will successfully and safely take place.

According to Commander of Army Corps 12 Major General Truong Manh Dung, after receiving the mission, the army corps assigned agencies and units to make preparations for the event focusing on personnel, weapons, and equipment. The army corps has worked with higher level agencies and relevant agencies and units to conduct field survey and develop a live-fire plan, build training documents, prepare vehicles and facilities, and hold training.
