Vietnamese border guard presents gifts to Lao troops and people

At the gift-presentation event at Nam Giang International Border Gate, the border post’s head Lieutenant Colonel Do Xuan Trinh extended compliments to troops and people of Dak Cheung district of Laos’ Sekong province.

On the occasion, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh handed over 70 gift packages, including rice, instant noodles, and other necessities each, worth VND 30 million in total, to Lao troops and citizens in the quarantine zone in Dak Cheung district.

On behalf of the Lao troops and people, Dak Cheung district’s representative thanked the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command in general and the Border Post of Nam Giang Border Gate in particular for their care and support. He said that these necessities will help Lao troops and people in the quarantine zone in Dak Cheung district overcome difficulties during the quarantine period.
