The practice followed the simulated scenario that a helicopter of the KRI Bung Tomo-357 spotted a person falling into the water and floating at sea. The incident was reported to the commanding officers of the two vessels. The commanding officers promptly made alert and assigned troops to take the rescue mission. A rescue team was quickly formed. Relevant crews coordinated closely and accurately and successfully saved the distressed person.

The same day, the Vietnamese and Indonesia ships jointly dealt with the troubleshooting of the steering gear, an important content of the exercise.

According to Commander Phan Thanh Truong, Commanding Officer of the 012-Ly Thai To, all practice contents were competed well and set targets were achieved.
