VINBAX-2019 will help enhance Vietnam’s capabilities for hosting peacekeeping operations drills and gradually develop training facilities and capacity for building a regionally- and internationally-standardized UN peacekeeping operations training center in Vietnam.

The contents of VNBAX-2019 include discussion and experience sharing sessions and tabletop scenarios. During the exercise, experienced Indian and Vietnamese officers will make presentations and give lessons on most updated professional issues, operational procedures, legal and humanitarian aspects concerning UN peacekeeping operations.

The two sides will also share practical experience and understanding concerning the functions, duties and organizational structure of UN peacekeeping forces, equipment preparation, training, logistic supplies, and more.

As for the tabletop scenarios, under the guidance of experts, participating officers are to solve problems in the scenarios closely related to the realilities at UN peacekeeping missions.
