In a cozy atmosphere, Major General Do Dinh Thanh, Commander of the Vietnamese Armored Corps, warmly welcomed Major General Koy Sereivuthy and the Cambodian delegation, congratulating them on the success of the seventh National Assembly election. He also presented souvenirs to the Cambodian delegation and wished them a successful working visit to Vietnam.

At the working session, Senior Colonel Phan Hai Long, Second-in-Command of the Vietnamese Armored Corps, briefed delegates on the corps’ history, traditions, construction, and development progress over the past 64 years, as well as its achievements during task performance over the past time, including refresher courses opened for Cambodian troops.

On this occasion, both sides also reviewed and discussed bilateral cooperation in the coming years. Accordingly, they will boost cooperation in delegation exchange and experience sharing so as to build the Vietnamese and Cambodian armored forces, meeting all task requirements in the current context.

For his part, Major General Koy Serivuthy expressed his delight at the working visit to the Vietnamese Armored Corps, thanked the Vietnamese side for their warm reception, and hoped that the visit would contribute to promoting mutual understanding and solidarity between the two militaries and peoples.

On the occasion, the Cambodian delegation also toured a museum featuring Vietnamese armored force and visited the Armored Officers' Training School.

Senior Colonel Bui Van Bac, Chairman of the company, received the Cambodian delegation, hoping that the visit would bolster the sound relations, traditional solidarity, and comprehensive partnership between the two peoples and militaries, as well as the two young generations of officers.

Speaking at the event, Head of the Cambodian delegation Colonel Heang Chhaymeng expressed his honor to visit Company 28, and his impression on the remarkable developments of the company.

Via the visit, the Cambodian military officers hoped to gain more knowledge to apply to their assigned tasks, while boosting mutual understanding, thereby promoting sound relations between the two militaries.

On the occasion, Company 28 presented souvenirs to the Cambodian side. The guests also toured some Vietnamese military enterprises.
