PANO – Cooperation in military technique between Vietnam and Belarus has helped both countries strengthen their defense power, contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world as a whole.

This was stated yesterday by Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of National Defense, at a reception of Smolski Genadi Aleksandrovich, Belarusian Deputy Chairman of the National Committee for Defense Industry and Chairman of the Belarusian Sub-committee under the Belarus-Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee for Military Technical Cooperation.
General Truong and Mr. Aleksandrovich discussed issues of mutual concern and reiterated that the two countries are willing to boost comprehensive bilateral cooperation, especially in military technology.
The Vietnamese general highly appreciated the two countries’ cooperation in military technology on the basis of equality and mutual benefits and believed that bilateral cooperation will further develop and obtain more practical and effective outcomes in the time to come.
