PANO – A “Development trends of international hospitals” workshop was co-held by the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, Military Hospital 175, and the municipal Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, on April 14th.

The US sent over 40 delegates to the workshop from leading hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical equipment firms, institutions, and training bodies of the country. All contributed important opinions regarding effective professional cooperation in medicine with Military Hospital 175. Delegates at the workshop also pointed out a clear direction for cooperation in such related fields as scientific research, training, medical practice, equipment delivery, and more.
Held at Military Hospital 175, the workshop stressed Vietnam’s current vigorous integration into the world, which has brought US health facilities potential opportunities for medical examination and treatment of Vietnamese civilians and troops.
