PANO - Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam's People Army (VPA), received a delegation of the Lao High-ranking Military Procuracy and Court, led by its Deputy Director Colonel Sivay Mayphone during their visit to Vietnam.

At the reception, the host stressed that the defence cooperation is very important for the two countries’ traditional friendship and special solidarity. He highly valued the cooperation results of the two armies over the past time, notably in delegation exchange, information sharing, and professional training, etc.

He also affirmed that the VPA's General Department of Politics would create favourable conditions for the two sides' relevant agencies to boost cooperation in the field, contributing to ensuring national defence and security in each country.
