At the reception, the host highly valued the results of the two engineering forces' cooperation in recent years, and hoped to further promote training cooperation between the two sides in the coming time. In addition, he suggested that the two sides' engineering units should quickly complete their cooperation agreements for the two defence ministers' approval, before including them in the two countries' 2016 bilateral defence cooperation plan.
The host also briefed the guests on the upcoming deployment of a Vietnam sapper company for UN peacekeeping operations and stressed that the VPA hopes to learn from the Cambodian engineering forces' experience in this field.
