Along with displaying and popularizing specific products of some typical traditional craft villages from the North, Central, and South of Vietnam, the Vietnamese cultural space features artistic performances with traditional musical instrument made by officers of the Vietnam People’s Army, also called Uncle Ho’s soldiers, contributing to giving visitors a better understanding of Vietnamese culture.
Attentively, Vietnamese units and businesses applied 3D tour technology to the Vietnamese cultural space at VIDEX 2023 via interactive touch screen with a rich data system about Vietnamese cultural heritage and military culture.

Coming to VIDEX 2023, visitors have a chance to learn about Dong Ho paintings or Dong Ho folk woodcut painting of a Dong Ho painting village in Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province, and enjoy some culinary specialties of villages in Vietnam.
Sambat Lita, a Cambodian people from Phnom Penh, shared that she was impressed when touring the Vietnamese cultural space. Especially, the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers introducing Vietnamese culture left a deep impression on her.
Another visitor shared that she really like Vietnamese culinary specialties. “The tea is very fragrant. Traditional cakes and candies are delicious.” She had unforgettable experience in making Vietnam traditional products. In the time to come, she hoped that there would be more chances to cooperate with Vietnamese enterprises.
According to Senior Colonel Dang My Hanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Arts under the Department of Political Education and Information of the General Department of Political Affairs, the cultural space has created a highlight of the VIDEX 2023, attracting many visitors during the exhibition. It is also a place to preserve many beautiful images showing the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia, the love for homeland of Vietnamese expatriates who are living and working in Cambodia.
The event will help popularize the beauty of the country, people, traditional culture, and military culture of Vietnam; strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the Vietnamese and Cambodian people and militaries, as well as among countries participating in the exhibition; and create an environment for the participating countries to exchange and share experience, and enhance cooperation in culture and arts.
Col. Hanh added that the cultural and artistic activities at the exhibition has also contributed to raising the awareness of the participants, troops in the whole military and people of Vietnam, and international friends about the development of Vietnam-Cambodia defense and economic cooperation.
