Third Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange: Groundbreaking ceremony held for kindergarten in Nghe An
PANO - On July 10, within the framework of the third Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang and his Lao counterpart General Khamliang Outhakaysone led delegations to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of Thanh Ha Kindergarten in Kim Bang commune, Nghe An province.
At the ceremony, Senior Colonel Tran Quang Trung, Political Commissar of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command, noted that Thanh Ha Kindergarten is a project built and funded by the Vietnamese Defense Ministry to the locality to mark this diplomatic event.

The project features two buildings, covering an area of 1,646 square meters, consisting of 13 functional rooms, consisting of six classrooms, offices for the school board and teachers, a medical room, a kitchen, and specialized rooms for physical education, arts, and music.
Senior Colonel Tran Quang Trung affirmed that the construction will be carried out with the highest responsibility, ensuring quality and standards. In addition to educating and caring for children in the border commune of Kim Bang, Thanh Ha Kindergarten can also serve as a storm and flood shelter for locals.
