Tet greetings extended to Chinese border management force
PANO - Son Vi Border Station under Vietnam’s Ha Giang provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts to the border management of China at border marker No.492 on January 21.
In particularly, Major Nong Quang Lap from Son Vi Border Station and the delegation handed over gifts and extended lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to the Chinese side; and exchanged information about border management, security and order maintenance on the both sides of the border over the past time.
On behalf of the Chinese border management force, representatives from the Tian Peng Border Police Station, He Ping Substation, Tianbao Border Checkpoint, and Fu Ning Border Dialogue Station expressed their thanks for the Vietnamese side’s gifts and wishes.
In the time to come, both sides will continue to strengthen cooperation in border management and protection; maintain security and order in localities, and disseminate information among local people on both sides of the border about the agreements and treaties signed by both sides, contributing to building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
