With the approval from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, the Indian Navy Ship INS Sujata and the Indian Coast Guard Ship ICGS Veera, respectively headed by Captain Anshul Kishore and Lieutenant Commander Ramesh V. Talke, are making a courtesy visit to Khanh Hoa from February 20 to 23.

The visit aims to enhance cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the armed forces of Vietnam and India, particularly the navies and coast guards of both countries.

During the visit, the ships’ crew-members will pay courtesy calls on leaders of the Khanh Hoa provincial People's Committee, Naval Region 4 Command, and Coast Guard Region 3 Command.

At the same time, they will also visit the Naval Academy and Signal Officers Training School, participate in friendly sports matches with officers and sailors from the Naval Region 4 and Coast Guard Region 3 Commands, conduct joint sea exercises (formation maneuvers, communication drills, and search and rescue operations), and explore local historical and cultural sites.
