Two Indian navy destroyers, Ins-Mumbai and Ins-Ranvir docked at Dinh Vu port in the northern city of Hai Phong on April, beginning a four-day visit to Vietnam.
The captains of the two destroyers paid a courtesy visit to the municipal authorities and worked with the leaders of the Vietnamese Navy and Military Zone No3. They visited the statue of female general Le Chan and the municipal orphanage.
During their stay, they will make a tour of several provinces and cities in Vietnam.
The visit is to promote cooperation between the two countries’ armies and navy forces as well as friendship and solidarity between Vietnamese and Indian people.
