PANO – Vietnam Navy Commander, Rear Admiral Pham Hoai Nam received a visiting Royal Thai Navy delegation, led by Royal Thai Navy Commander, Admiral Na Arreenich, on June 6th at the Vietnamese Naval Headquarters in Hai Phong city.

At the reception, the two naval commanders exchanged views on issues of common concern and discussed measures to bolster cooperation between the two armies, particularly the two navies.
Rear Admiral Pham Hoai Nam held that the Vietnamese Navy is willing to enhance cooperation with the Royal Thai Navy in delegation exchanges, search and rescue, exchanges of young officers and other areas for mutual benefits in the time to come.
For his part, Admiral Na Arreenich thanked the host for the warm reception and promised to further contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two armies and the two navies and to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
On the occasion, the Thai naval commander invited his Vietnamese counterpart to visit the Royal Thai Navy at the soonest possible time.
During their stay in Vietnam, the Thai delegation will tour some landscapes in Hai Phong and Hanoi cities.
Earlier, the delegation visited the Vietnamese Naval Museum.
