During the course, Lao officers and cadets will study 12 office work-related topics, nine mass mobilization-related themes, and three policy and printing technology-related subjects, among others. Meanwhile, they will have field trips to Vietnamese units.

Speaking at the event, Major General Khong Van Minh affirmed that with the position and role as a strategic advisory agency for the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the GDP, over the past years, the Vietnamese GDP’s Office, Departments of Political Education and Information, Mass Mobilization and Policy and the Lao side have paid due attention to the organization of refresher courses and experience sharing to enhance research capability and effectively implement office and mass mobilization work, grassroots level unit building, policy work and printing skills to meet the task requirements of the Lao People's Army in the new situation.

Gen. Minh required the Vietnamese instructors to clarify basic contents, especially the forms, methods, and procedures of carrying out office, mass mobilization, and policy work and printing technology in the VPA. Therefore, the Lao officers could effectively apply obtained knowledge to reality.

An overview of the event

For the Lao trainees, Gen. Minh required them to raise a high sense of responsibility, overcome their difficulties in studying, and enhance exchanging information. Meanwhile, they should strictly observe the course’s regulations and ensure absolute safety.

The organizing panel of the course and relevant agencies and units should follow the set plan and the training program, pro-actively overcome difficulties and closely collaborate to ensure the success of the course with absolute safety.
