MR7’s delegation extends greetings to Cambodian people on Chol Chnam Thmay

The delegation extended best wishes to the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister; General Directorate of Military Services under the Ministry of Defense; units under the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces; the Governor of Svay Rieng province; Vietnam Embassy in Cambodian; and the Vietnamese Defense Attaché to Cambodia.

During the visits, Gen. Trung expressed sincere gratitude to the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces for their assistance to the Vietnam People's Army in general and Military Region 7 in particular to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.

In particular, the Cambodian side has contributed to maintaining security to build a borderline of peace, stability, cooperation, and development; helped the Cambodian people of the Vietnamese origin stabilize their life; facilitated Military Region 7’s search and repatriation of the remains of fallen soldiers.

In addition, the Cambodian units have actively supported Vietnamese businesses to conduct production and trade activities in Cambodia; paid attention to educating youths across the country in general and those in the military in particular about the nation’s traditions and the friendship between the two militaries and peoples.

On the occasion of the Khmer people’s traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival, the Political Commissar of Military Region 7 wished generals, officers, and soldiers of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and their families good health, happiness, prosperity, and task accomplishment. He also hoped that the solidarity and friendship between the two countries and militaries will be evergreen and sustainable forever.
