According to a report delivered at the event, the exchange, the first-ever of its kind, taking place from October 26-30, 2024, was successful. With many practical activities, the exchange carried big political significance and contributed to fostering the traditional friendship between the two countries, strengthening cooperation between the two coast guard forces in particular and the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in general.

An overview of the meeting |
As an initiative of the Vietnam Coast Guard force, the exchange on Party and political work was held solemnly and thoughtfully, meeting the set goals, ensuring absolute safety. The exchange program was highly appreciated by leaders of the Party, State, ministries, departments, and agencies and units inside and outside the military, and praised by international friends for its meaning, message, and organizational initiative.

Authorized by the Ministry of National Defense’s leader, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command’s leader handed over merit certificates of the Defense Minister and the Vietnam Coast Guard’s Political Commissar to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements while engaging in the exchange program.
