Indian naval ships visit Khanh Hoa province
PANO – Two Indian naval ships INS KOLKATA and INS SHAKTI, with 735 officers and sailors on board, led by Captain Hara Aditya, anchored at Cam Ranh International Port, Khanh Hoa province, on April 13, starting their three-day visit to Vietnam.
The visit is made in the context of the vigorous development in the Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership in general and the bilateral defense relations in particular.

It has also been regarded as an activity realizing the signed agreements between the two militaries’ leaders, contributing to expanding the bilateral defense cooperation in a practical and efficient manner.
During the visit, the officers and crew-members of the ships will pay courtesy visits on the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province, the Command of Naval Region 4 and the Vietnam Naval Academy and take part in sports exchanges with local naval units.
Before leaving Vietnam, the two Indian naval ships and ships of the Vietnam People’s Navy will join drill contents of fleet formation, communications, and search and rescue at sea.
