Indian ambassador visits Signal Officer Candidate School
PANO - Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma led a delegation to visit the Signal Officer Candidate School on June 19.
The school’s Vice Rector Senior Colonel Duong Khanh Toan, together with representatives of the school received the Indian delegates.

At the meeting, on behalf of the school’s Chain-of-command, Colonel Toan briefed the delegation on the cooperation between the school and the Indian Defense Ministry in performing defense and military tasks over the past time, as well as outcomes in training and scientific research activities of the Center for Information Technology and Foreign Languages (IT & Foreign Languages).
For his part, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma hoped that in the future, with the support of the Indian government in the second phase, the military software park will become the ideal destination for IT and foreign language training for the Vietnam People’s Army and be considered a symbol of the two countries’ military cooperation in human resources development.
On behalf of the school, Colonel Toan thanked the Indian Defense Ministry’s support to the school and expressed his belief that the traditional partnership between the two countries would be further deepened and achieve remarkable results, especially in defense-security field.
He also noted that the school keeps close contact with the Indian Defense Ministry in IT and foreign language and human resources training; research, development, production of application software, IT products, electronics and telecommunications, meeting all task requirements in military building, industrialization and modernization of the country and the needs of the international market.
