Ship 015-Tran Hung Dao prepared to dock at Cam Ranh Military Port

Officers and sailors from Brigade 162, Naval Region 4 welcomed Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao upon its arrival.

During the 16-day mission, Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao and the Vietnam People’s Navy delegation carried out defense diplomacy activities in Guangzhou, China, and in Manila, the Philippines. The program included courtesy calls on naval leaders, banquets, cultural and sports exchanges, ship tours, and visits to local historical sites, cultural landmarks, and scenic spots.

The voyages from Cam Ranh to Guangzhou, Guangzhou to Manila, and Manila back to Cam Ranh were completed as planned with absolute safety. While underway, the crew of Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao strictly maintained duty regulations, demonstrated proficiency in operating technical equipment, effectively handled situations at sea, and maintained smooth communications. 

Speaking at a conference reviewing the mission, Senior Captain Do Minh, Deputy Commander of Naval Region 4 and head of the delegation, emphasized that the delegation had strictly followed the approved programs for visits and exchanges with the Chinese and Philippine navies, as well as instructions and directives from higher levels.

The delegation adhered to the scheduled arrival, stay, and departure times; fully complied with international maritime law and regulations governing naval vessels operating in foreign waters and ports; and properly observed regulations on external relations. All activities were conducted safely, leaving a positive impression on the Chinese and Philippine navies.
