Former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers, advisers visit boarding school in Laos
PANO - On September 23 in Vientiane, Laos, a mission of the National Liaison Board for former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisers working in Laos visited the ethnic culture boarding school of the Lao People’s Army.
Welcoming the Vietnamese delegation, Colonel Saveang Deannamon, the school’s Political Commissar, briefed them on its role and achievements over the past time.
Colonel Saveang Deannamon highly appreciated the delegation’s visit to Laos, which aimed at reviewing sacrifices made by former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisers who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Lao People’s Army and people in the fight against invaders till the country was completely liberated.

Colonel Saveang Deannamon also underlined that Lao and Vietnamese people, especially youngsters, should further promote the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states, and peoples.
On this occasion, the delegation handed over 35 computer sets to the school.
