During the seminar, experts from the defense ministries of both the UK and Australia discussed UN logistics procedures, difficulties confronting host countries and special requirements for the level-two field hospital deployment in South Sudan.
In addition, the experts also shared their views on the cooperation between Vietnam and Australia in transporting personnel and equipment of the level-two field hospital to South Sudan. They also covered differences in ensuring logistic and technical work between the initial deployment and the subsequent replacement of personnel for the level-two field hospital at the end of the Vietnamese participation in the mission.
The program was to boost cooperation between Vietnam and the UN, the UK and Australia prior to the takeover of a level-2 field hospital in Bentiu of the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.
