Expanding friendship exchanges on Cambodia’s traditional New Year
PANO – A delegation of the Military Region 9 Command, led by its Political Commissar Major General Huynh Chien Thang, has paid visits to several units of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces on the occasion of the on-going traditional New Year festival of Cambodia (Chol Chnam Thmay).
Accordingly, they visited the Commands of the Royal Cambodian Army and Royal Gendarmerie of Cambodia, High Command of Guards, and Military Regions 3 and 5, etc.
At the meetings, General Thang handed over gifts and extended greetings of the traditional New Year festival to the Cambodian units.
In turn, the hosts highly appreciated assistance of the Vietnam People’s Army, including armed forces of Military Region 9, over the past time and hoped to further develop the bilateral friendship and cooperation.

* The Dong Nai provincial Military Command visited the Department of Logistics under the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Cambodian military sub-regions of Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom.
During their visits, they signed documents to twin units of the Dong Nai provincial Military Command and units of the two Cambodian military sub-regions.
