Defense Minister Phan Van Giang concludes exchange activities in China

While in China, the Vietnamese delegation visited Youyi Guan tourist site, Border Company of Youyi Guan Border Gate, heard report of the patrol teams of the two navies before their joint patrol. Minister Phan Van Giang and his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun planted a friendship tree and led the two delegations to visit a smart border gate area at Youyi Guan Border Gate, Pingxiang city-based Primary School No.4 and Zhulian model village.

Exchange activities in China successfully wrapped up

General Phan Van Giang and the Vietnamese delegation were warmly and solemnly welcomed by Chinese Ministry of National Defense’s leadership, local authorities and people of Pingxiang city.

A see-off ceremony for the Vietnamese Defense Minister and Vietnamese delegation was held at China’s Youyi Guan Border Gate. A home-welcome ceremony for the defense chief and delegation was held at Vietnam’s Huu Nghi Border Gate.

As scheduled, on April 17, Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang will host an official welcome ceremony for his Chinese counterpart Senior Lieutenant General Dong Jun and the high-ranking delegation of the Chinese MND. The two delegations will later engage in various activities within the 9th exchange in Lang Son province.
