Leader of the Dak Lak provincial Military Command present gifts to the people in S’re Am Pum commune. 

Specifically, the medical team from the Dak Lak provincial Military Command provided health check-ups, presented medicines, and guided more than 650 people on how to prevent common diseases and care for health during the hot season.

S’re Am Pum is a remote commune in Bet Chan Da district with limited medical infrastructure. At the event, doctors and medical staff from the Dak Lak provincial Military Command found that many people have dental, ENT, dermatological, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal problems. After receiving health consultations and free medication, the locals expressed their gratitude for the care and affection shown by the Vietnamese military medical team.

On this occasion, the Military Command of Dak Lak province presented 250 gift packages to poor households and policy families in the commune. The total value of the gifts and medicines for the people was estimated at more than VND 250 million.

Healthcare program is an annual activity organized by the Military Command of Dak Lak province on the occasion of the Cambodian traditional Chol Chnam Thmay. Through the practical deeds for the people of S’re Am Pum, Dak Lak's armed forces have contributed to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, following the principle of “Good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability” which has been nurtured and continuously developed by the leaders and people of both nations.

The activity also aimed to preserve and strengthen the solidarity, friendship, and closeness between the armed forces of Dak Lak and the Mondulkiri provincial Sub-region and people.

On the occasion, the Dak Lak provincial Military Command delegation offered flower at the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument in tribute to fallen soldiers.
