In 2024, as part of the second Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program, various practical and humanitarian activities have been implemented for border people of both countries, including handing over breeding cows and awarding scholarships to impoverished students.

These activities have contributed to building the shared borderline of peace and friendship, and fostering prosperity and development for people on both sides of the border.
