The Australian Navy warship, HMAS WARRAMUNGA, arrived in Cam Ranh International Port, the central province of Khanh Hoa, on November 2, starting a six-day technical visit to the port.

During their visit, the ship’s Commander and crew will meet with senior officers of Naval Region 4 Command of the Vietnam People’s Navy.
The crew will participate in a friendly sporting activity with Vietnamese soldiers explore local rich culture.
The visit aims at concretising the implementation of maritime security cooperation programs in a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation between Vietnam and Australia signed in 2010, thus contributing to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries’ navies.
