No Vietnamese representative at reception celebrating US embassy in Jerusalem
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has affirmed that Vietnam did not send any representative to a reception hosted by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Israel on May 13 on the occasion of the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem.
The MOFA’s Department of Press and Information made the affirmation on May 14 while responding to reporters’ query on whether Vietnam sent its representatives to the event.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserts that Vietnam had no representative at the reception as mentioned by some news outlets,” said the department.
