One of the fair’s main attractions lies in its huge promotions. Many booths offering Korean cosmetics, perfumes, facial masks, and health supplements have cut prices by up to 80%, fueling a shopping surge. Japanese brand Naris has marked down all its products by 50%, while others are offering “buy two, get one free” or free beauty serums with purchases.

The hottest area at the fair is the sportswear booths, where well-known brands such as Li-Ning, Adidas, Nike, Asics, and Le Coq Sportif are offering discounts of up to 70% on selected items.
Accessories and fashion booths are also drawing crowds. Handbag brand Pucini is offering 50–70% off, Belluni has slashed prices by 60%, and Pierre Cardin shoes are discounted by up to 50%. Vietnamese garment maker May 10 has launched a special shirt sale with flat prices from only 150,000 to 269,000 VND (5.7–10.2 USD).
Other stalls, including Viet Phap sports equipment, Japanese LED lights (down 40%), and On Off socks with “buy one, get one free” deals, are adding to the fair’s excitement.
Minh Tuan, a manager of a sportswear booth, said that the weekend crowd was huge, but what surprised sellers is that demand has stayed strong even on weekdays.
“Shoes with 70% discounts sold out quickly. We’ve had to restock constantly, and our staff have been working full speed,” Tuan said.
For shoppers, the event is not only about good deals but also about the experience.
Thanh Ha, a Hanoi resident juggling several shopping bags, said: “I thought weekdays would be quieter, but it’s still crowded. I bought some sports clothes for my kids, then saw handbags and cosmetics on sale, so I couldn’t resist. It’s tiring, but the savings make it worth it.”
Many visitors have also come from nearby provinces to join the fun. Thu Lan from Hung Yen province shared her excitement: “My daughter suggested we visit the fair. We don’t have big shopping events like this in my hometown. I came mostly to look around, but when I saw Korean ginseng at 80% off, I bought two boxes as gifts.”
The strong turnout and brisk sales show that the fair’s appeal remains centered on major brands offering deep discounts and diverse products. The lively atmosphere over several days also reflects a clear rise in consumer spending as the year-end shopping season kicks in.
The 2025 Autumn Fair will remain open until November 4 at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi.
