Launched on June 10, 257 entries from overseas have been sent to Viet Solutions 2021 organizing panel after three months. Among them, 80 entries are highly appreciated and likely to receive investment opportunities.

The contest is jointly held by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and Viettel Group.
Themed “Collaboration to create a digital society,” Viet Solutions 2021 aims to seek technological solutions and products in ten areas, namely healthcare, education, finance-banking, agriculture, transportation-logistics, energy, natural resources-environment, industrial production, entertainment solutions - utilities, and business management.
Notably this year, all solutions/products focus on dealing with social problems, especially those arising during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In particular, over 40 percent of entries submitted to the Viet Solutions 2021 are technological solutions and products in the fields of healthcare, education, entertainment-utilities. Meanwhile, business management is the field attracting the most contestants, accounting for 26 percent of the whole entries.
Thanks to the increase in quality, the organizers have chosen 32 teams for the next rounds, two teams more than planned (30 teams) after the qualifying round.
The 32 most outstanding teams participated in the “Pitch Day” round on October 5-6. From which the 10 best teams will receive a short training course to prepare for the “Camping Day” round.
The final round is scheduled to take place on October 16. The ranking of the five winning teams will be announced on October 18.
The champion will receive a cash prize of VND 300 million while the runner-up will bag VND 200 million and the team coming third will get VND 150 million.
In addition, the winning teams will have a chance to cooperate with Viettel in the future and enjoy profit-sharing of up to 75 percent.
