Viettel launches 4G services for Facebook and YouTube users
PANO – The Military-run Telecommunications Group Viettel has introduced 4G services at reasonable costs to meet its subscribers’ demands for surfing Facebook and YouTube.
Accordingly, the company offers three packages for Facebook users by day, week and month: 4GFB1, 4GFB7 and 4GFB30. For the first two packages, subscribers pay only VND 3,000 and VND 15,000, respectively, with unlimited data. For the 4GFB30, pre-pay subscribers pay VND 30,000 for 20GB data to access Facebook within 30 days; meanwhile, contracted customers will get unlimited data.
To view clips on YouTube via 4G, subscribers can select three packages: 4GYT1, 4GYT7 and 4GYT30 at costs of VND 10,000, VND 30,000 and VND 100,000, respectively.
Along with different promotion programs, Viettel’s customers, who are using other 4G packages, will also enjoy its internet services provided by 36,000 4G based transceiver stations nationwide, the country’s largest 4G infrastructure.
After supplying a number of 4G packages, cheaper from 40% to 60% than 3G services, Viettel plans to present an entertainment portal called 4Gplay with many interesting services such as online movie 5Dmax, high-quality music service Keeng, and social network MyClip at the beginning of June.
