This was the largest number of new enlistees to the group after four editions of the competition and 1.4fold higher than the third edition.

This year, the organizer of Viettel Digital Talent received over 3,000 applications, 1.5fold higher against 2023. 179 candidates were selected to work as interns at key projects of the Group in 10 countries around the world. In six months, they were trained by more than 140 experts from the U.S., Australia, Germany, Singapore and major technology companies such as Viettel, Google, Shopee, and Qualcomm.

Forty percent of initiatives and ideas from the competition have been applied at Viettel, bringing about practical values.

More than 100 excellent students from the fourth Viettel Digital Talent are officially admitted to Viettel.

Major General Tao Duc Thang, Viettel’s Chairman and General Director, said that Viettel Digital Talent is not only Viettel's journey, but also its big dream. Viettel's dream is to accompany and inspire the young generation to dare to dream, dare to do and conquer high levels of technology.

First launched in 2021, Viettel Digital Talent has trained over 700 domestic and foreign students. More than 250 graduates from Viettel Digital Talent are still working at Viettel’s affiliates. The training fields have been increased by three times, serving the Government in implementing the national strategy on digital economy and digital society by 2025, with a vision to 2030.
