Under the MoU, Viettel AI and Presight will jointly develop generative AI, AI applications for smart city operations, big data analytics solutions for businesses and AI talent development.
At the meeting, the Vietnamese government leader assessed that Vietnam and the UAE are increasingly strengthening connections through telecommunications and fiber optic cables and may soon connect even more closely through AI.
CEO of Viettel AI Nguyen Manh Quy emphasized the confidence in driving breakthroughs in AI on an international scale thanks to the center’s expertise in core technologies like AI, Big Data, Robotics, and Digital Twin and its experience in national AI platforms and projects, and Presight’s market knowledge and advanced technology. Viettel AI’s leader emphasized that focusing on locally tailored products and services will offer enhanced user experiences in each country.
In his speech, CEO of Presight Thomas Pramotedham expressed his delight at initiating this strategic collaboration with Viettel AI. He said that combining the two sides’ resources and expertise in AI would significantly advance digital transformation initiatives.
According to the CEO of Presight, Viettel AI has strengths in data analytics and natural language processing. Thus, the partnership would serve as a chance for Presight to join hands with Viettel to contribute to Vietnam’s digital transformation journey.
As a pioneering tech enterprise in Vietnam, Viettel operates the country’s largest data center infrastructure, supporting big data and AI advancements. The Group also takes the lead in developing Vietnamese large language models, with AI products, such as court assistants, civil service virtual assistants, and specialized AI solutions for the financial sector. Attentively, Viettel’s virtual assistants are effectively deployed in ministries, industries, provincial administrations and financial enterprises.
