In recent years, following the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies, Quang Binh province has made significant progress in the digital transformation. The province has issued several strategic directives on digital transformation, scientific development, technology, innovation; invested in developing telecommunication infrastructure and information technology and implemented online public services. It has also obtained positive results in applying digitization to healthcare, education, and tourism.
At the ceremony, the leaders of Quang Binh provincial People's Committee and Viettel signed a cooperation agreement with 14 key areas, focusing on digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy, and digital society, and building a model of "Digital Party Organization - Digital Government" at the provincial level in Quang Binh.

Speaking at the event, the province’s leader Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the signing ceremony is an important foundation for cooperation between Quang Binh and Viettel. The Secretary of the Quang Binh provincial Party Committee hoped that Viettel would continue to support Quang Binh in becoming one of the localities leading the way in digital transformation, turning digital technology into a driving force for socio-economic development.
According to the agreement, the focus will be on promoting digital transformation within the Party of Quang Binh province; accelerating the development of synchronized and modern digital infrastructure; improving online public services; building a truly digital government; training and developing digital human resources; strengthening digital transformation in businesses and digital economy development; applying digital technology to key sectors like healthcare, education, tourism, and agriculture; and collaborating to establish an intelligent operations center.
Quang Binh province committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Viettel to implement joint projects and programs; promoting administrative reform; allocating resources to ensure the effective implementation of digital transformation.
