Ho Van Quang, a resident of Trung Son village, Truong Son commune, Quang Ninh district, said that his family lives in hard condition, thus they only afforded just a mobile phone to keep contact with local people, relatives and friends. Their phone used 2G technology. Upgrading to 4G technology is costly and he has to go to the center of the district, which is over 80km from his home, to do that.
Acknowledging the hardships of local subscribers, Viettel Quang Ninh came to his house, gave advice, completed shifting procedure for him and presented him a 4G mobile phone and instruction.
“The 4G mobile phone has many features, stable connection. Together with the phone presentation, Viettel’s staff enthusiastically guided me. Thanks to Viettel Quang Ninh for the practical gift for our Truong Son commune’s people,” Quang touchingly said.

Like Quang, Ho Thi Muoi from the Bru-Van Kieu ethnic group in Ben Duong village, Truong Son commune is also among those being prioritized to receive 4G mobile phone this time.
“The 4G mobile phone costs nearly VND 500,000, a large amount of money for my family. This phone with many features presented by Viettel Quang Ninh not only helps me with smooth communication, but also supports me to get access to useful information such as medical services, weather updates, livestock farming, farming methods... my family is very excited," said Muoi.
To effectively implement the program, over the past time, Viettel Quang Ninh has consolidated and upgraded infrastructure to expand 4G coverage throughout the district, especially in remote and border areas and arranged points to exchange and present mobile phones in densely-populated areas. It has also sent staff to each house, giving each customer a mobile phone, supporting connections, and instructing on how to use them.
