Ho Chi Minh City and Busan promote bilateral cooperation
PANO – Leaders of HCM City and Busan (Korea) held a virtual meeting on September 10 to share experience in COVID-19 prevention and control as well as measures for economic recovery.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed that amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the virtual meeting showed both sides’ determination to further promote cooperative relations between HCM City and Busan.
Regarding measures for economic recovery, Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong highlighted that HCM City always tries to create favorable business conditions for foreign entrepreneurs, experts, engineers and workers, including Busan enterprises.
For his part, Acting Mayor of Busan Byeon Sung-wan asked the two cities’ authorities to establish an interdisciplinary online working group to hold online exchanges, contributing to further promoting bilateral cooperation between HCM City and Busan in the current context.
