In addition to developing local traditional sports, it attracted a large number of visitors to the city during the Hung Kings Temple Festival.

The competition is seen as an opportunity for athletes to exchange experiences and contribute to the development of physical training and sports activities in the city in particular and in Phu Tho province in general.

During the competition, 240 athletes from eight teams from Viet Tri city and the four districts of Thanh Thuy, Cam Khe, Doan Hung and Tam Nong competed on a course of about 3 kilometers.

After intense competition, the first place went to the crew from Tuy Loc commune, Cam Khe district, followed by the crews from Huong Non commune, Tam Nong district.

During the Hung Kings Temple Festival 2018, many other exciting activities will be held until April 27 to entertain both domestic and international tourists. These include a Chung cake-making contest, an exhibition highlighting festivals and rituals in the ancestral lands, and art performances, to name but a few.
